Daebak K-pop Music Festival
For this project I made a full set of branding assets for a fictional K-pop festival. Daebak is a Korean slang word that is often used when something happens cool, awesome, or great, which I thought also was a good name for a K-pop festival.
Main Logo
I used my knowledge of Hangul the features of the font (the roundness and uniform stems) to make my logo. I thought that using these aspects and the block syllables that Korean has was a natural way to explore.
Neon Logo
I decided to make a modified logo for my flyer to help it stand out. I used neon to accent the letterforms which helped add more dimension.
